I Sold Out.

So that's slightly dramatic, but I decided to get a Twitter account.
Originally to follow Tori Amos (:love:)

I find it so much easier to update a couple of sentences a day then to try and write a journal entry on how my hats are going. And they are!

I'm currently in the process of designing my "Debut Collection".
It will be following the same lines of True Regal, but hopefully more decadent and detailed then it. ATM I have 7 fur felt top hats of both miniature and 'normal' sizes in various Royal Colours. Still deciding whether or not to add other types of hat. I suppose it depends on the time frame I decide on and funds.

Anyways! Will try and update my account soon, I have a couple of hats still hanging around that need to be photographed. Might have to make myself the model and get my boyfriend to take the pics.

I am taking commissions atm, although for the Tea Cup Hat you'd be looking at about $300, an awful lot of work went into it.

Uhm, my friend and I are starting an online business, and I was told haveing a website costs roughly 68 dollars a year. I was wondering if you know of way to bring down that price or something along those lines?

That actually sounds rather cheap. I pay AU$20 a yr for my domain name, and AU$15 a month for my internet hosting. Since I'm also a graphic designer I did my website myself. So it works out at AU$200 a yr. I also pay $70 a yr for my business name, but you don't have to go to that much of an extreme.

A little advice, don't start your business with no money behind you. If you don't have funds, run it as a hobby business. I tried to go full out from the start with no money, and now I'm having to slow down and rethink my strategy.

Also, to keep it cheaper, just have your website on places like here, facebook and myspace which is free, and then sell on ebay or Etsy. Etsy is cheaper then ebay, it really depends on what your selling.

Just make sure you do your research before you start anything solid ^_^
